Cost and Money911’s role

How much does a loan cost?

The applicable terms are in the contract the lender sends you. Read it before you sign: no payment or advance is required at signing. A question? Call us.

Is Money911 the lender?

No. A co-borrower commits to the loan with you, which lowers the lender’s risk. At Money911, that co-borrower is us. The loan itself comes from a separate lender.

We review each request for your ability to repay, using your bank statement sent read-only (IBV) and the information in your request.

Why can a request be refused?
  • Bank verification (IBV) not completed
  • Bank account too recent
  • Incomplete documents
  • Eligibility criteria not met
  • Debt ratio too high
  • A returned (NSF) payment or a stop payment
  • Other reasons judged appropriate

Approval is not guaranteed.

Bank verification (IBV)

What does the bank verification see?

Instant bank verification sends us a read-only copy of your statement. We never see your username or password.

Is the bank verification required?

Yes. Instant bank verification (IBV) is part of every request. Without it, a request can be refused.

Applying

Can I apply by phone?

No. Every new request is made online; call us if you have a question.

What happens after I send my request?

You complete the bank verification (IBV), then your request is reviewed. If it is approved, you read the lender’s contract before you sign it. A request for more information is not an approval.

Deposits and timing

When does a direct deposit arrive?

Request approved and signed contract back before 11:30 a.m.: deposit the same day, between noon and midnight. After 11:30 a.m.: the next day.

How do I get the money by Interac e-Transfer?

Choose Interac e-Transfer in your request: once you’re approved and the contract is signed, the money lands within the hour. An extra fee applies.

Payments and lender fees

Can I pay it off early?

Yes. Call us and we will direct you to the lender, who gives you the payment details for your balance.

What if a payment gets hard to make?

Call us before the payment is due. At its discretion, the lender may change your payment schedule or defer a payment; fees may apply.

Renewals

When can I request a renewal?

You can ask for a renewal once your balance is under $150 and you have kept to your contract terms. It is never guaranteed.

How do I request a renewal?

Online, with the renewal form: open it from the Renew page or from your client area.

Ready to send your request?

Money911 commits to the loan with you, with a separate lender. You apply online, in two steps.

Notice about the co-borrower service

Money911 offers a co-borrower service. The loan is granted by a separate lender. Each request is reviewed for the ability to repay; approval is not guaranteed. The applicable terms are set out in the contract the lender sends.
