How long the transfer takes after you sign

No request is approved in advance: each one is reviewed for your ability to repay. What moves fast is the deposit, once your contract is signed.

  • The online form is open anytime.
  • The number and frequency of payments are set in the lender’s contract.

  1. Step 1

    Fill in the online request

For the deposit method, choose Interac e-Transfer.

  2. Step 2

    Instant bank verification (IBV)

A read-only copy of your statement, never your username or password.

  3. Step 3

    Review of your request

Based on your ability to repay. Approval is not guaranteed.

Read-only

Bank verification (IBV) and your privacy

Instant bank verification sends us a read-only copy of your statement. We never see your username or password.

The statement comes from your financial institution. Without this check, a request can be refused.

Before the deposit

What can slow a transfer down

  • Approval and signature come first

No deposit is made before your request is approved and the contract is signed.

  • Interac e-Transfer isn’t chosen

You choose it in your request. Without that choice, direct deposit and its 11:30 a.m. rule apply.

  • The signed contract comes back after 11:30 a.m.

With direct deposit, the money is then deposited the next day.
